5-for-5 Day for Byun Monday, September 29th , 2064 Yong-chik Byun exploded for a barrage of base hits at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker. The Carrollton left fielder had a field day in his team's 38-8 triumph over the Easton Caterpillars, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Byun must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Yong-chik Byun walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th, walked in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
