Yong-chik Byun exploded for a barrage of base hits at Knockout Stadium by Brooklyn Decker.

The Carrollton left fielder had a field day in his team's 38-8 triumph over the Easton Caterpillars, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Byun must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Yong-chik Byun walked in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 4th, walked in a run in the 5th, singled in the 7th, walked in the 8th, walked in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.

On the season, Byun is batting .316 with 19 home runs and 60 RBIs. He has played in 77 games.
