5-Hit Game for Dotson Wednesday, July 30th , 2064 Bill Dotson was at the head of a Rosewell Tribbles hit parade at The Lair at Sabercat Field. The 19-year-old went to the plate 6 times and came away with 5 hits, but it was the Sedona Sabercats that marched off with the 14-13 win. "We didn't have it today," griped Tribbles skipper Leonel Alba following the game. "Bill did fine, but as a team, we didn't do it with the bats and we didn't do it pitching." Dotson did more than fine, dominating the Sabercats at the plate during his record-making 5-for-6 performance. "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging shortstop told reporters. "When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." Bill Dotson doubled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a three-run home run off Ignacio Constante in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 9th.
