Rosas Goes 5-for-6 Sunday, June 1st , 2064 Even as a kid, Ruben Rosas said his coaches told him the key to hitting was making contact, and letting everything else flow from there. At Rangers Field, Rosas showed how well he learned that lesson. The 17-year-old second baseman had 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Carrollton Rangers, helping his team knock off the Prince George Cougars by a score of 27-1. "They always said, just keep your eye on the ball, don't overswing, make contact and you never know what will happen," he said. "That's all I did." Ruben Rosas singled in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Oscar Delgado in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, singled in the 5th, doubled in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
