Redfern Belts Bunch of Base Hits Friday, May 26th , 2062 Players get multi-hit games all the time, but 5-hit games are something else entirely. Mike Redfern walloped 5 hits in 6 at-bats for the Rutland Voodoos in a career day at Chickenhawks Stadium, but it was the Frontance Falcons who won the ballgame, 27-12. "My swing was really, really there," Redfern said afterward. "I made some good, solid contact and when that happens, good things happen. And hey, 5-for-6 and losing is better than 0-for-6 and losing, right?" Mike Redfern singled in the 1st, doubled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 9th.
