Edwards Raps 4 Roundtrippers Wednesday, May 24th , 2062 Nothing could stop Adam Edwards -- certainly not the Frontance Falcons pitching staff. The 16-year-old first baseman for the Rutland Voodoos sent 4 baseballs soaring out of Chickenhawks Stadium and made his name a part of history. Behind his barrage, the Voodoos earned a win, 17-14, over the Falcons. "In the standings, a loss is just a loss, but this one was frustrating," Falcons manager Bryan Bram said later. "He clobbered us." Edwards's dream game included 7 hits in 7 at-bats, 4 homers, 11 runs driven in and 6 runs scored. "I know all the stories are going to be about me today, and that's OK," Edwards told the press in the locker room after the game. "Next time, it'll be one of the other guys." Adam Edwards singled in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Mike Tiller in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Mike Tiller in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Charlie Lafontaine in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Jim Coture in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
