Falcons Hammered by Edwards, Drop Game 3 to Voodoos
The Rutland Voodoos defeated the Frontance Falcons, 17-14, in Game 3 of the League Championship Series. A big contributor was first baseman Adam Edwards, who hit 4 home runs, while scoring 6 and driving in 11. The win moves Rutland into a 2-1 lead in the series.

The game was all tied up in the top of the eighth, until Edwards delivered big-time for Rutland, stroking a dramatic grand slam home run off Jim Coture. The game-changing hit put the Voodoos on top, 17-13.

"It was a good day but I'm not letting my guard down," Edwards said. "I'll let my guard down as soon as someone puts a big, fat championship ring on my finger."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Chickenhawks Stadium in Kingston.
