Kansas's Harris Goes Ballistic with 5 Hits Monday, April 10th , 2062 It was a high-five day for Vince Harris, at least for a while. The Kansas second baseman got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Auburn Tigers, but they were in short supply at the end, as Auburn won the game, 9-8. Harris finished with an impressive 5-for-6 line, but the Jayhawks couldn't hold off the Tigers. "Vince was hitting everything," said Jayhawks manager Camilo Pascual. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion." Vince Harris singled in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, struck out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Mickey Fink in the 9th.
