Chippewa Takes Divisional Series
The Chippewa River Chiefs will continue the trek towards a League Championship Series title, while the Victoria Vikings are headed home for the season.

Chippewa won the Divisional Series with a clinching game 7-5 victory at The Reservation, concluding the series at 4-2.

"We didn't want this thing to go any further, that's for sure," Charlie Francis said after officially being named series MVP.

He turned in a dominant offensive performance to win the award, with a .522 batting average, .633 on-base percentage, 1 home runs, 10 RBI and 5 runs scored.

The Chippewa River Chiefs will play against the Moonbeam Martians in the next round. Moonbeam won their series against the Carmel Apples 4 games to 1. The League Championship Series schedule will be announced after the Divisional Series finishes.
