Moonbeam Wins Divisional Series Friday, October 17th , 2064 The fans in Moonbeam are celebrating the Martians victory over the Bel Air Princes in the Divisional Series. They defeated the Bel Air Princes 7-5 in the finale played at Abbey Stadium to capture the series 4-2. Jamie Markley was chosen the series' Most Valuable Player. The Martians center fielder batted .435, drove in 5 runs and scored 8 runs in the series. "The Princes are a good club and I don't mean any disrespect to their pitching staff, but things just felt easy this series," Markley said. "Everything at the plate seemed right." The Moonbeam Martians will play against the Oconomowoc Five O's in the next round. Oconomowoc won their series against the Ottawa Civics 4 games to 0.
