Cowboys Even With Cats After Home Win
|
The Calgary Cowboys defeated the Fort Worth Cats, 8-4, in Game 2 of the Divisional Series. Making an impact was designated hitter Aleixos Gouveia, who was 2 for 3 with a triple and a walk, while scoring 3 times. The win moves Calgary into a 1-1 tie with Fort Worth in the series.
David Jankowski had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Calgary. With the bases loaded and the Cowboys leading 5-4, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Jankowski.
The next game is set to be played for Monday, October 18th , 2066 at LaGrave Field in Dallas.
