Red-Hot Scarlett Scorches Birdwings Tuesday, September 16th , 2064 It was a parade of hits for Dave Scarlett of the Brownsville Bandits at Road Warriors Field. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Scarlett finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Bandits to a win, 12-1. "Scarlett was really good and we were really bad," groaned Birdwings manager Roberto Flores. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Dave Scarlett singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Dave Mayo in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Jesus Gomez in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
