Princes Izzy Porras Down and Out for Year Friday, September 28th , 2063 Izzy Porras of the Princes just might have to call it quits for the season. The 19-year-old Bel Air starting pitcher received a possible season-ending injury against the Hazleton Birdwings recently at Philip Banks Field. Porras suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow while throwing a pitch. The Princes medical staff said he could be out quite some time, as much as 13 months. Porras has a 2-7 season record so far. In 17 starts, he has fanned 55 batters in 72.1 innings with a 6.97 ERA. |
