The right fielder went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, sparking the River Bandits to a nice 20-5 victory over the Hazleton Birdwings. "I told the guys in the dugout, just be thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging Elting told reporters after the game. "Seems like it worked out well for us today." Birdwings skipper Roberto Flores said later that the club gave up "too much plate." "Not the way we planned it," he said. "Every hitter in the league will rip you when you do that." Aaron Elting hit a GRAND SLAM off Robby Welsh in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 6th and singled in the 6th.
