Moonbeam Hurler Wins RA Most Valuable Player Award Friday, November 3rd , 2062 For fans of the Moonbeam Martians, there was certainly no doubting the value of Marco Grados this season. Now the 23-year-old pitcher has an award to show just how valuable he was, as he's been named the 2062 RCL A Most Valuable Player Award winner. His remarkable campaign saw him put up a 20-4 record. In 31 starts he piled up 232.1 innings, had 214 strikeouts with 65 walks and a 2.71 ERA. Grados held opposing hitters to a .237 batting average and compiled a 8.5 WAR. He received 14 first place votes out of a possible 28. Tim Callahan of the Moose Jaw Warriors finished second in voting with 12 first place votes, while Bobby Hamilton of the Moonbeam Martians finished third with 2 first place votes.
