Roth Belts 5 Hits Wednesday, September 17th , 2064 Who needs batting practice? Apparently not Carson City Mustang third baseman Jeff Roth, who missed the team's pre-game session at FUBU Field but peppered the Evanston Bishops for 5 hits come game time. The Mustang went on to grab the 6-1 win. "I was late to the park and I wasn't sure coach was even going to keep me in the lineup," he told the press after the game. "Maybe I should skip BP more often." Jeff Roth hit an RBI double in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Kyle Ott in the 8th and singled in the 9th.
