Johnson Goes Yard 3 Times

Zach Johnson showed off his power as he launched three balls into the seats against the Frisco Rams and sparked the Seagulls to a win, 11-10.
"I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I have always liked to hit at Chapman Field."
For the day, Johnson collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 8 RBIs.
"He was instant offense today," Clearwater skipper Ayub Ndadaye said. "Zach really put on a show."
Zach Johnson walked in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Aaron Gianos in the 4th, hit a GRAND SLAM off Aaron Gianos in the 5th, hit a three-run home run off Ricky Ruiz in the 6th and flied out in the 7th.
For the year, Johnson is batting .335 with 13 home runs.

Bulldogs Pitching Ravaged by Neal

Larry Neal was on fire, sparking his club to a win, 9-5, over the Bulldogs. The Roaring River left fielder was a tough out and went 5-for-5 against Spokane in a fine hitting display.
"I got my pitches and I connected. They all found the right holes on the diamond. Some days you hit shots and they're right at somebody and some days they fall in."
Larry Neal singled in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Bill Antunez in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Bill Antunez in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
Thus far this season in 43 games, Neal is batting .296 with 6 home runs, 27 RBIs and 17 runs scored. He has 34 hits in 115 at-bats.
