Brett Womack took DOUBLE A by storm this year, and he did it all at the age of 21.
For his spectacular campaign, the Rock River Rats star has been named the 2061 TML AA Most Valuable Player Award recipient.
"To be considered amongst the best in the league is overwhelming," said the right fielder.
On the season he compiled a .318 batting average to go with a .407 on-base percentage. The native of Kokomo, Indiana also added 30 doubles, 4 triples, 31 home runs, 109 RBIs and 106 runs scored.
He received 12 first place votes out of a possible 28. Freddie Carter of the Rock River Rats finished second in voting with 8 first place votes, while Nate Haskins of the Rock River Rats finished third with 4 first place votes.
