Rodriguez Nixes Baseball, Will Enter Basketball Draft

Beaumont multi-sport star Joel Rodriguez has decided to discontinue his baseball career and focus full-time on his basketball career. Despite his love of baseball, Rodriguez says he likes his prospects on the hardwood better than the diamond. "It was a tough decision, but I think this is the right one for me," said the Drillers starting pitcher.
