Sandy Springs Relief Star Selected Best Pitcher

Sandy Springs's Sam Scott solidified his position as a fine reliever, claiming the TML AA Pitcher of the Month award for July.
Coming in from the bullpen 11 times he accumulated 4 saves and 16 strikeouts in 16.1 innings. He had a good month with a 4-0 record and a 1.10 ERA.
So far this year, Scott has nailed down 20 saves. His won-lost record is 7-0 with a 2.05 ERA.

RCL AA Names #1 Pitcher in July

Jason Leffert was on cloud nine the entire month of July, capping it off with the RCL AA Pitcher of the Month honors.
The Adirondack starter was spectacular in 6 starting assignments with 4 wins and 2 losses, 46.2 innings pitched, 35 strikeouts and a fine 3.09 ERA.
This year, Leffert has posted a record of 9 wins and 3 losses with a 3.11 ERA. He has appeared in 14 games and struck out 78 in 104.1 innings.
