Rae in Command, No-Hits Hawks Thursday, August 23rd , 2063 Boston Whitecaps starter Tim Rae came up big at Basque Block Field with an exceptional 2-0 win against the Boise Hawks. Not only did he whip them, but Rae held them hitless, too. "My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Rae. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens." In the course of the no-hitter, Rae collected 7 strikeouts and surrendered 2 walks -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.
