Canucks Heading to Double A World Series
Tuesday, October 11th , 2061
The Moose Jaw Canucks "proved we can handle pressure" by beating the Double A League Championship and eliminating the Silicon Valley Hackers, according to series MVP Elijah McNeil.
"This is the big stage, we're off to the Double A World Series and looking towards the Double A World Series," he said. "There's a lot of pressure at this time of year and it's only going to get more intense from here. But I think we can handle it just fine."
Moose Jaw won the final game 2-1, to wrap up the series 4-1.
McNeil led his team to the series win by putting up a .333 average, with a .429 on-base percentage. He had 1 home runs, drove in 6 RBI and scored 4 runs.
The Moose Jaw Canucks will play against the Rock River Rats in the next round. Rock River won their series against the Evanston Bishops 4 games to 0. The Double A World Series schedule will be announced after the Double A League Championship finishes.
