McCloud Thwarts Joplin, 4-0 Saturday, August 25th , 2063 Josh McCloud hurled nothing but zeros at the Joplin Fireballs in an impressive outing at The Firepit. The Thunder Bay pitcher allowed 3 hits, fanned 5, and walked 2 in blanking Joplin, 4-0. "There were a lot of frustrated guys walking back to the dugout," Joplin manager Daniel Petro said. "Not a fun day." Checking out his stats for the year, McCloud has racked up 10 wins and 7 losses in 21 starts, posted a 3.51 ERA, and struck out 74 batters in 143.2 innings.
