Fairfield Rallies for 9-6 Win
The Fairfield Flash overcame a good performance by Minneapolis pinch hitter Joaquin Lagos to knock off Minneapolis, 9-6, at The Ice Box. Lagos went 1-1 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Fairfield reliever Tom Gaston picked up the win, upping his record to 3-2. Jason Grant absorbed the loss. The second-place Flash have a record of 68-60.

Adrien Corradini went 2-2 with a triple, a double, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs for Fairfield. The 24-year old catcher had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 6-6 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Jason Grant. It was his 65th RBI of the season.

"We were the better team today. Maybe that won't be the case next game, but we'll enjoy it for now," Corradini told the Fairfield Chronicle.
