TML AAA Names McCarthy Best Player Sunday, November 5th , 2062 The manager of the Antioch Coal Miners said he thinks Joey McCarthy is only going to get better as he gets older. He may only be 22, but it will be hard to top the second baseman's 2062 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the TML AAA Most Valuable Player Award. His winning campaign featured a .313 batting average and a .421 on-base percentage this year. In 155 games he piled up 194 hits, 41 doubles, 7 triples, 40 home runs, 93 RBIs and 126 runs scored. He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. David Marlow of the Madison Muskies finished second in voting, while Ryan Welch of the Calgary Kodiaks finished third.
