Triple A World Series to Thunder Bay Saturday, October 21st , 2062 It was a hard-fought battle for both teams to make it this far. But as the saying goes, "to the victors go the spoils." For the victorious Thunder Bay Black Bears, that meant the TRIPLE A Triple A World Series trophy. The Black Bears took a 5-4 victory over the Indianapolis Ambition at Edgbaston, winning their 1st championship after taking the series 4-1. "We've got grit," said Black Bears third baseman Khalil Barner, who was named MVP of the series. "We know how to win when we have to."
