TAAA Reliever of the Year Award Winner Named Sunday, October 30th , 2061 They say you can't teach an old dog new tricks, but in the case of A.J. Meier of the Peoria Caterpillars, you don't have to - his old tricks worked just fine in 2061. The 35-year-old veteran turned in a sparkling performance and has won the TML AAA Reliever of the Year Award. He captured the award with 32 saves in 51 relief appearances, 40 strikeouts and 30 walks in 60.2 innings. He put up a record of 7-4 to go with his 2.08 ERA. He received 28 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Charlie Doane of the Billings Mustangs finished second in voting, while Terry Brulhart of the Minneapolis Freeze finished third.
