Big Day for Cordova: Swats 5 Hits Saturday, April 30th , 2061 Pablo Cordova really sizzled at the plate in his team's 13-0 win over the El Paso Mavericks. The Walnut Creek first baseman blistered El Paso for 5 hits in 5 at-bats. "Cordova was too tough to get out today," the Mavericks skipper said in the postgame interview. "No matter what we threw him, he hit it. And he hit some good pitches, too."
