Moreno Fires 13-0 Shutout for Walnut Creek Saturday, April 30th , 2061 The El Paso Mavericks met their match today in Walnut Creek hurler Bruce Moreno. He kept them guessing the whole game and spun a 5-hit shutout. "He just worked us over," El Paso skipper Lorenzo Castillo said. "He probably didn't even need a shower after the game -- he barely worked up a sweat." In the 13-0 victory, Moreno whiffed 7 and gave up 1 walk.
