5-Hit Blitz by Cardenas Wednesday, September 8th , 2060 It was a parade of hits for Israel Cardenas of the Chicago Eclipse at Millennium Field. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Cardenas finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 6 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Eclipse to a win, 11-6. "Cardenas was really good and we were really bad," groaned Bison manager Jon Green. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Israel Cardenas doubled in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Ben Molter in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, struck out in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
