Sasquatch Pitching Ravaged by Saxton

Matt Saxton said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Sasquatch Field at Brewbaker Family Memorial Stadium, and it showed in the box score. The Walnut Creek left fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Seattle Sasquatch, leading his club to victory, 9-8.
"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Saxton said later."
Matt Saxton singled in the 1st, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Juan Macias in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and walked in the 9th.
This season, Saxton is swinging the bat at a .346 rate with 129 hits in 373 at-bats. To date he has hit 14 home runs, scored 91 runs and driven in 50.
