Bison Do In Pioneers, 6-1

The Bighorn Bison knocked off the Vancouver Pioneers, 6-1, in Thurman Munson League action at Ram Brewery Ballpark. Bighorn pitcher and Montreal, Canada, native Dave Ransom had an outstanding performance. The Bison, at 55-67, sit in 5th place in the Thurman Munson League West Division.
Chris Crofts had a big 2-run home run for the Bison in the bottom of the first inning. With Bighorn leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a changeup from Jeff Prudhomme, who finished 5th in the TML in wins with 15 in 2062, and swatted a home run to left. It was his 17th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bison ahead, 3-0.
"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Crofts told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
