Bloomington got a terrific performance from pitcher John Peters, but it wasn't enough to beat the Milwaukee Millers. Milwaukee won the The Mandalore Complex contest, 4-2. Peters came in in relief and pitched to 28 batters for the losing team. The win takes Milwaukee to 4-5.

Milwaukee first baseman Pat Lewis contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the first. With two down, he hit a cutter to left-center field for a 2-run single. It was his 10th hit of the season and put the Millers ahead, 3-0.

Said losing manager Scott Andrews: "The at-bats, obviously, needed to be better."
