Azizi Whacks 2 Home Runs in 11-4 Win
The Mexico City Luchadores defeated the Pennsylvania Butterflies, 11-4, in Roberto Clemente League action at The Royal Grounds. Ghaysun Azizi pulled his weight. The 11-year veteran slugged 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Alberto Candelaria, who went 9 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 4 runs on 8 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 9. His record now stands at 3-9. The slumping Butterflies have lost 7 straight.

With Mexico City leading 3-1 in the bottom of the fourth, Azizi hit a changeup from Will Cabrera for a 2-run home run. It was his 5th home run of the season and put the Luchadores ahead, 5-1.

"We've got to get out of this funk," said Pennsylvania manager Aaron Barnes.
