Vince Walker made an impact in the 7-6 Quebec win over Buffalo. Walker, who finished 4th in the TML in wins above replacement with 6.5 last year, was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The slumping Bison have dropped 7 in a row.

Quebec used the timely hitting of Fred Sersch to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Armada on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It's going to click," said Buffalo manager Jon Green. "It's just a matter of when."
