Toronto Win Evens Series at 2
The Toronto Blue Jays knotted up the Divisional Series at Aiken Stadium, thanks in large part to designated hitter Fred Scott. Scott went 3 for 4 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 3 runs as he overpowered the Aiken Thoroughbreds, enabling Toronto to grab the 5-3 win and move into a 2-2 tie in the best-of-7 series.

Scott had an important at-bat with runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the seventh, when he hit a run-scoring single. The Blue Jays went on to win.

"Nice win for us," said Scott. "Now we'll go after the next one."

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Aiken Stadium in Aiken.
