Aiken Wins at Home to Take 2-1 Lead in R1
The Aiken Thoroughbreds got a strong performance from pitcher Ken Liberto, who stymied the visiting Toronto Blue Jays en route to a win, 5-2, in Game 3 of the Divisional Series. The Blue Jays could never get a bead on the right-handed Liberto, who threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball. The Thoroughbreds now hold a 2-1 in the best-of-7 series.

Roberto Acosta dealt the Blue Jays a blow in the bottom of the fourth. Batting with the bases loaded and Aiken leading 1-0, Acosta hit a 1-0 fastball for a grand slam home run.

"Ken did what Ken does," said Aiken manager David Flecha.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Aiken Stadium in Aiken.
