Hawaii Bats Go Silent in 3-0 Loss
The Dallas Texans got a magnificent effort from pitcher Jake Williams, who kept Hawaii hitters in check en route to a 3-0 Texans win at Metroplex Park. The winning pitcher was Williams, now 3-3. He tossed 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 8. Dallas's record now stands at 22-31, placing them last in the Roberto Clemente League Mike Brouillette Division.

Dallas took a 3-0 lead on George Dollar's 1st double of the season. The 2-run double, which Dollar hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Hawaii pitcher Tom Mitcham visibly frustrated.

"Jake throwing strikes, pounding the zone, that is exactly what you want to see," said Dallas manager Gary Stoy.
