Sting Get Hard-Earned Win
Kenny Forbush did all he could to help his team win. In the end, though, it wasn't enough to spare the Moonbeam Martians an extra-inning, 4-3 loss to the Houston Sting at Abbey Stadium. Forbush belted 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Efrain Padilla earned the save, his 1st, for the Sting. The Sting, at 66-79, sit in 5th place in the RCL HA Tommy Lasorda Division.

Miguel Trejos came through with a big-time hit for Houston. The third baseman smacked a solo home run in the top of the 14th inning to give his team the lead, 4-3. It was his only hit, but it was clutch.

"That's what these guys do," said Sting manager Barnabé Bacm. "They battle, they fight."
