The win was largely due to the efforts of first baseman Tony Figueroa, who captured player of the game honors. He went 2 for 4 with 2 singles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. Luis Herrera got the save, his 14th in 17 chances. The Vikings bumped their record to 80-66 with this latest triumph.
