The home crowd had a good time watching the St. Petersburg Pelicans and Oconomowoc Five O's get after it.

Oconomowoc pitcher Mike Erpenbach did his part in helping his team defeat the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 10-1. The opposition could never get too much going against the right-hander. Erpenbach, the winner, moves to 10-7. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 4 and giving up 4 walks.

Andrew Grogan hit a 2-run double off Ivan Guido in the bottom of the first, which put the Five O's in front, 2-0. In addition to the double, Grogan had 1 single and 1 walk, while going 2 for 3.

Said losing manager Gilbert Drader: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."

With the victory, the Five O's upped their record to 72-42.
