Apples Win at Chippewa, 6-1
Willis Paulino brought his A-game to help Carmel defeat the Chippewa River Chiefs, 6-1. Carmel now sports a record of 55-48.

Ray Harder had a big 2-run home run for the Apples in the top of the fourth inning. With Carmel leading 2-1 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 21-year old right-handed pitcher Brad Dillinger and punished it. The result was his 14th home run of the season, which put the Apples on top, 4-1.

Said losing manager Pang Yip: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
