| Saints Win at Kingwood, 4-1 | The Kingwood Knights got a superb performance from pitcher Matt Todd. Still, it wasn't enough to beat St. Paul. The Saints won the game, 4-1. In spite of the loss, Todd was named the player of the game. He threw 6 innings of 4-hit ball. Andy Bowersox picked up the win with 5 innings of work. He allowed 1 earned run on 6 hits, while walking 4 and striking out 3. On the season, he is now 4-4. Sadao Matsunaga, credited with the save, is now 2 for 4 in save opportunities.
Frank Keddy, who is tied for 5th in the LBL in RBI with 63, aided the St. Paul cause with a run-scoring single in the top of the sixth. For the game, the center fielder was 2 for 3 with 2 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs.
