The St. Paul Saints defeated the Williamsport Crosscutters, 8-3, at Crosscutters Park. St. Paul center fielder Jose Salamanca was named player of the game for his superb performance. He was 2-2 with 2 singles and 3 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2. The winner was Ivan Pimentel, who threw 155 pitches over 9 innings. The right-hander was charged with 3 runs on 7 hits.
