The Buffalo Bison locked up a win at Thundering Grounds at Bison Stadium, knocking off the Montreal Jazz, 4-3. On the mound for Buffalo was right-hander Jamie Hansen. He played a major role in the triumph. Hansen got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 6 hits and walked 0 over 6 innings. He allowed 3 runs. The first-place Bison improved to 32-18.

The Bison got a big at-bat from center fielder Sam Bridgman. For the game, Bridgman went 3-4 with 2 doubles, while adding 2 RBI. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring double. His 11th double of the season gave Buffalo a 4-3 lead.
