Soggy conditions did not keep Bel Air and St. Petersburg from playing their scheduled game.
The Bel Air Princes picked up a win at Billy Mathews Field, dropping the St. Petersburg Pelicans, 2-0. Chris Moore was the difference-maker. Now 17-82, St. Petersburg has lost 10 in a row.
The Princes got a big at-bat from designated hitter Nobuhiko Yamamoto. For the game, Yamamoto went 1 for 4 with a home run. In the top of the third, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Bel Air a 1-0 lead.
