Martians Get Past Memphis for 5-4 Win
The Moonbeam Martians knocked off the Memphis Blues, 5-4, in RCL HA action at Abbey Stadium. Moonbeam pitcher and San Diego, California, native Ethan Gray had an outstanding performance. The first-place Martians, at 76-14, now lead their division by 23 games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alex Matos in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 22-year old left-handed pitcher Jeff Weaver to win the game for Moonbeam. The home crowd went nuts.

"Ethan's a gamer," said Moonbeam manager Daniel Wilson. "Glad he's on our side."
