The Baltimore Magicians claimed a close win over the Victoria Vikings, due in large part to Cesar Figueroa. The Baltimore right-hander pitched a great game to secure the 2-1 win. Baltimore reliever Cesar Figueroa picked up the win, while Jose Huerta took the loss for Victoria. Getting the save was Nick Macauley, his 2nd.

Steve Aultz went 1-3 with a hit by pitch for Baltimore. The 25-year old right fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Jose Huerta. It was his 56th RBI of the season.

Baltimore manager Teruo Sato called it "a pretty good win."

Baltimore now sports a record of 53-36.
