Fernandez Slams 5 Hits for San Antonio
San Antonio catcher Sergio Fernandez put on quite a show at Woodland Park with a big 5-hit day in the 18-5 victory over the Houston Sting.

"Not a bad day at the plate, 5-for-5," he said in the postgame interview. "Wish I could do this more often. It would do wonders for my batting average, and my salary, too."

Sergio Fernandez hit a solo-shot off Mario Ramirez in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, walked in the 7th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run home run off Daniel Anders in the 9th.
