Big Day for Soto as Princes Down Lake Monsters, 12-7
The rain made it unbearable at times; nonetheless, the faithful who endured the elements enjoyed themselves.

The Bel Air Princes topped the Okanagan Lake Monsters, 12-7, at Philip Banks Field. Bel Air shortstop Danny Soto was a spark plug for the offense. He was 3-4 with 3 doubles and was hit by a pitch. He scored 3 runs and drove in 4. Rowland Lester collected his 1st save.

Jordan Alfonso helped out the Bel Air cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the first baseman went 1 for 2 with a double and 2 walks.

"Hitting is contagious. And when you have a lineup that's going to throw out competitive at-bats one through nine, it makes you want to join in," said Alfonso.

The defeat makes Okanagan 37-36.
