San Angelo Reeling, as Skid Hits 12 Games
|
The Bel Air Princes beat the San Angelo Mustangs, 2-1, at Philip Banks Field. Bel Air first baseman Chris Ferris had an outstanding performance. He was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Danny Serna picked up the win in relief. Ruben Olivares took the loss for San Angelo. Now 13-58, San Angelo has dropped 12 games in a row.
Bel Air grabbed the momentum in the bottom of the fifth, when Ferris hit a 2-run home run off Ruben Olivares. His 11th home run of the season put the Princes out in front, 2-0.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Bel Air manager Greg England. "Our pregame was pretty good."
