Big Day for People in 10-3 Blues Win
Memphis took on Brownsville in front of a lively crowd.

The Memphis Blues powered past the Brownsville Bandits, 10-3, at The Barn. Tristan People was 3 for 3 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 2, to lead the charge. Memphis pitcher Eric Long earned the win, hiking his record to 2-0. Danny Alpizar suffered the loss.

John Day, who was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2061 draft, helped out the Memphis cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the center fielder was 1-5 with a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once.

"We were able to put some runs on the board," said People after the game.

With the victory, the Blues upped their record to 32-25.
