The Havana Stogies beat the San Francisco Earthquakes, 7-3, at Golden Gate Park. Havana left fielder Allen Larson, who finished 2nd in the RCL in slugging percentage with .632 in 2061, collected 1 single and 2 doubles with 4 runs batted in. Havana is 23-31 and San Francisco, with the loss, 22-31.
Havana took a 6-2 lead on Larson's 10th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which he hit off Rosario Lulli in the top of the sixth, propelled Havana to the win.
