Rowland Lester was terrific for the Bel Air Princes in his team's 5-1 triumph over the Houston Sting. His performance earned Lester rave reviews. Lester, now 2-4, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 3 hits, while striking out 8, walking 3, and allowing 1 run. The 6th-place Princes now have a win-loss record of 19-32.

The Princes got a big at-bat from right fielder Ramon Valle. For the game, Valle was 3 for 4 with a home run and a triple. He scored 2 runs. In the bottom of the fourth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Bel Air a 2-1 lead.

Bel Air manager Greg England called it "a pretty good win."
